confirmed, with new-wave icons Blondie the final act to be announced. Blondie will

The Electric Vehicle Village, sponsored by Co-operative Insurance, will bring together
one of the largest collections of zero-emissions vehicles ever seen in the UK, with a
display of more than 20 vehicles which are propelled solely by battery power.

BRITISH INTERNATIONAL MOTOR SHOW APPOINTS SEVENTY SEVEN AND PFPR
International Motor Industry Events (imie), organiser of the British International Motor Show, has appointed Seventy Seven PR and specialist automotive agency PFPR to promote the Show – UK’s largest consumer exhibition – which opens at ExCeL London on 23 July 2008. The agencies are tasked with helping to attract over 550,000 visitors to the 12-day motoring celebration, representing a 33 per cent increase on 2006 ticket sales.

The British International Motor Show Music Festival – Alice Cooper, Chicago and Meat Loaf added to the line up
23 July to 02 August 2008, ExCeL London
London, Thursday 13th March, The British International Motor Show today announces the second
wave of artists scheduled to appear in its Music Festival which takes place in the specially created
riverside concert venue, as part of the Motor Show at Excel in
London. A collection of world-famous live acts will perform nightly concerts in the purpose-built
dockside arena each night of the Motor show. The line up includes UB40, Status Quo, Squeeze,
Here and Now 80s Tour (featuring Bananarama, Belinda Carlisle, Paul Young, Toyah, Kid
Creole and the coconuts, Midge Ure and Nick Heyward) Deep Purple and Jools Holland
featuring Marc Almond. Today we announce that Alice Cooper, Chicago and Meat Loaf have
been added to the bill.
