Visitors to the 2009 Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, which kicks off this Friday at the NEC in Birmingham, will have the opportunity to take a first glimpse of the highly sought-after Victory Motorcycles CORE concept which will be making its first public appearance in Europe.

Designed and built by the Victory Motorcycles Industrial Team to show the future of performance cruisers, the CORE has been dubbed one of the most exciting motorcycle innovations in recent times. With minimalist looks incorporating a stylish ‘naked' engine, futuristic body and hard-tail rear end, visitors will marvel at the next generation of motorcycle engineering and design.

ARAI TO HOST CHARITY AUCTION AT SHOW

Phoenix, the UK distributor for Arai helmets, will hold a charity auction at the NEC Motorcycle and Scooter show on Saturday December 5, 2009.

Starting at 12.00pm on the main stage in the Arai Entertainment Zone (Hall 2), the auction will consist of ten quality items that will go under the hammer to raise money for Riders for Health.

Items currently confirmed include an RX-7 GP Colin Edwards replica helmet, signed by the Yamaha MotoGP rider, and many pieces of racing memorabilia and money-can't-buy objects, including the stunning one-off helmet worn in this year's Superbike and Senior TT races by Gary Johnson.

KYMCO’S INNOVATIONS SET TO HOLD THE SPOTLIGHT AT THE 2009 CAROLE NASH INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW

With only a week to go until the curtain raises for the 2009 Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, visionary Taiwanese manufacturer, KYMCO, has announced that it will unveil the new KR Naked 125 street bike and a new addition to its LIKE retro scooter family, the fuel-injected LIKE 200i, at this year's event which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from the 27th November to 6th December.

Keen to further underline the company's penchant for developing bikes with unique design and engineering capabilities, both the LIKE 200i and the Naked 125 list an array of attractive features and performance statistics. The LIKE 200i offers 60% more power over its 125cc brother whilst the KR Naked 125 sports a new double beam cast aluminium alloy chassis, which weighs in at a mere 8.9kg, a 30% saving on the standard steel frame.

SHANE LYNCH SUPPORTS GET ON AT NEC BIKE SHOW

Boyzone star Shane Lynch will try out the Get On interactive experience unit at the Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, at Birmingham's NEC on Tuesday 1 December. Lynch is the latest star to back the Get On campaign, which aims to give 100,000 people a taste of life on two wheels.

Get On is an innovative campaign to promote the benefits of motorcycles and scooters and offers anyone over the age of 16 a FREE one hour taster session on a scooter or motorcycle by registering at www.geton.co.uk/. The campaign will be unveiling its state of the art mobile experience at the Show which runs from 27 November to 6 December.

CAS HONDA MOTOCROSS TEAM SET TO EXHIBIT AT THE 2009 CAROLE NASH INTERNATIONAL MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW

Internationally renowned motocross team, CAS Honda, will be a welcome inclusion to the raft of manufacturers and teams exhibiting in the all-new Off Road Zone at the forthcoming Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show which takes place from the 27th November to the 6th December at the Birmingham NEC.

CAS Honda will be displaying the factory machines as used by Billy Mackenzie this year, plus visitors to the Show are invited to visit the CAS Honda stand in Hall 5 to see The World Motocross Championship squad as well as the 2010 team set-up.  Also on display will be the new 2010 SC Sporthomes' hospitality vehicle which will be used for the team's campaign next year.

In what has proved to be a landmark year for Yamaha Motors UK and Silverstone both intend to cap 2009 off in style at The Carole Nash International Motorcycle & Scooter Show  which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from the 27th November - 6th December.

Fresh from claiming championship titles across MotoGP, World and British Superbikes, World Supersport and MX1, the Japanese manufacturer moves confidently into 2010 with the belief that they have a two-wheeler to offer everyone. Yamaha will be displaying a huge range of motorcycles both on and off road, including their scooters, at this year's Show.
