The Crew of Cape Breton Island, skippered by Jan Ridd, celebrating their return after the final race of leg 7 in the Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race.

The Clipper 09-10 Round the World Yacht Race started from the Humber, UK, on 13 September 2009. The 35,000-mile race was contested by ten internationally sponsored 68-foot racing yachts and visited 14 ports before returning to the Humber today. There are more than 400 non-professional crew who signed up for the challenge of a lifetime. They are drawn from all walks of life and represent almost 30 nationalities.
