David Cooke begins the cycling stage at the Dextro Energy Paratriathlon in London's Hyde Park.

The world's top triathletes were in a start line-up when the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championships Series came to London's Hyde Park today (15th August).

London is the sixth of seven stop-overs before the grand final in September. Britain's Alistair Brownlee could take the overall series trophy if he wins on Saturday. On Sunday 16th more than a thousand amateur triathletes will take their own turn on the Olympic venue in sprint and Olympic distance triathlon races.
Each event features an elite men's and women's race but also an Age Group mass participation race. The event in London also hosts youth, junior and paratriathlon races and an expo - an international trade fair.
