SuperStock is to powerboat racing what NASCAR is to cars. Quite simply, the fastest growing and most exciting form of marine motorsport today - and the most accessible. The essence of SuperStock is close, production-based racing based on identical boats racing in two different classes, leaving the pilots to battle it out on the water through every turn and wave jump. SuperStock has its foundations in the former Honda Formula Four Stroke Series which ran successfully for the last ten years under the stewardship of eight-times Powerboat World Champion, Steve Curtis MBE. This year, rights holders to the Powerboat P1 World Championship takes over the series and brings enhanced broadcasting and media exposure, a new set of exciting rules and incentive packages for new pilots and teams to go racing.
